Use of Olanzapine during Entire Period of Two Times Pregnancy in a Patient with Schizoaffective Disorder - Follow-Up at 36 Months and 14 Months Old Age

Abstract

|
Olanzapine is a well known effective atypical antipsychotic to treat schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. There were many case reports about use of olanzapine during pregnancy, but was no report about use of olanzapine during entire period of two times pregnancy. The author presents the case of a patient with schizoaffective disorder with olanzapine during entire period of two times pregnancy. The patient delivered two normal female children, and they are growing well and showed normal developmental milestone at 36 months and 14 months old. This case report is helpful to know about the use of olanzapine during pregnancy.
